My article and interview with Judy Blume was published in the venerable Bitch: Feminist Response to Pop Culture.
My essay was included in an anthology of essays and stories about Oregon - in celebration of the state's sesquicentennial. (I've written that last word dozens of times and still have to look up its spelling whenever I type it. FYI: It means 150th anniversary.)
These are essays that I wrote for Editorial Emergency, a copywriting and branding agency based in Los Angeles.
I was asked to write a piece on candy branding, based on my "expertise" on the subject.
The other essay is about copy on shampoo bottles, something I know about mainly from reading and analyzing my shampoo bottles while stalling for extra shower time.
